Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline, shortened to DPBS, is water-salt solution used to maintain a consistent pH in biological and chemical applications. It contains disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium chloride. The pH of standard and custom PBS formulations ranges from 7.2-7.6 when the buffer is ready to use.
