When is the new Biologos opening?

May 2023, with all products expected to be transitioned by end of Q3 2023. The 32,000 square square-foot facility will replace the current Montgomery site as our manufacturing site and headquarters. Our current facility in Montgomery, including mixing/formulating, the clean room, freezer and cooler is leased through December 2023.

Where is the new facility located?

Our new address is 195 International Blvd, Glendale Heights, IL 60139. The new facility will be located about 30 minutes northeast of the current facility, closer to both the Chicago O’Hare International Airport and the Chicago Midway International Airport.

Is Biologos building a facility or moving into an existing facility?

Biologos is moving to an existing building and completely redesigning the interior space to meet our needs for improved production, aseptic lling, cold and ambient storage, and laboratory space.

What are the capacities of the new facility?

The new facility will significantly increase Biologos’ product capabilities while also allowing for future growth. Examples below:

• 3x mixing/formulation area
• 3x aseptic processing space, prepped for future expansion
• 2x increase in ambient pallet storage
• 3x increase in QC laboratory space
• 3x increase in freezer space
• 4x increase in cooler space
• 2x increase in administrative offce space

Will the same equipment be used in the new facility, or will new equipment be purchased?

Most current equipment is transferring to the new site. Exceptions are as follows:

• Two-way autoclave with exit into aseptic suite
• Two new laminar flow hoods in clean room
• New freezer and two new coolers
• New RO/DI USP purified water system
